Growing up with cartoons and games, Derek never thought about the actors behind his favorite characters; they just sounded like that. He had no idea that becoming those voices would one day turn into an enjoyable and meaningful career. Time spent performing improv, and musical improv, on-stage gave him the skills and confidence to embody new roles and gladly welcome on-the-spot changes.
